Mission Parish School Pre-Kindergarten offers three programs.

-The 3 day program is held Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:30 to 2:30.

-The 5 day program is held Monday through Friday from 8:00-11:00.

-The full day program is held Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 2:30.

We believe that a high quality Pre-Kindergarten program not only prepares a child for kindergarten, but the language, literacy, and math skills acquired during these early years are strong predictors of a child's later success in school.

We recognize and respect the family and home as the primary place for each child's learning.   We strive to build relationships with parents and promote family participation in the classroom.

Our curriculum reflects our Catholic beliefs.  Foremost, we foster a sense of community.  We worship and pray together.  We celebrate and learn about major Catholic holidays and traditions.

We offer activities and instruction which address the Social-Emotional, Language and Literacy, and Mathematics domains found in the California Preschool Learning Foundations.

Our curriculum includes:

• Both child-directed and teacher-directed activities
• Small group, whole group, and individual instruction
• Handwriting Without Tears for pre-writing skills
• Alpha-friends and daily journal writing for writing development
• Every Day in Pre-K Math
• Spanish
• Computer Technology
• The Catechesis of the Good Shepard for religious formation
